Hey, I’m Sana!
I’m a UX design leader based in Brooklyn with 10+ years of experience shaping digital products, scaling teams, and driving multi-million–dollar business impact. My background spans e-commerce, fintech, and enterprise design, with leadership roles at Amazon, Afterpay, and Thomson Reuters.
I founded SOOD, a creative studio featured in Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair, and Elle, and serve as a Board Member at Insight Arts, advising on strategy for a nonprofit supporting visually impaired artists. I also teach Applied UX Design as an Adjunct Professor at NYU, where I earned my M.S. in Integrated Design and Media.
As both a designer and a merchant, I’m passionate about building consumer experiences that connect creativity with commerce; from reimagining pre and post-purchase journeys to shaping the future of AR/VR and emerging technologies. I regularly mentor designers and share insights through speaking engagements at Friends of Figma, Afterpay, and other design communities.
